Notably, Parle Agro’s turnover doubled to Rs 5,000 crore over the years. Building on this success, other Frooti products, such as Frooti Fizz, gained traction, supported by the renowned actress Alia Bhatt as their brand ambassador. Nadia took a calculated risk in 2005 to maintain relevance in a cutthroat market after realising that Frooti was considered as a conventional brand. Frooti’s trademark green packaging was changed to a striking yellow design, which increased awareness and helped the company shed its “kid-centric” label. In order to take Frooti to new heights, Nadia went a step further in 2015 and entirely relaunched the company with new branding, packaging, advertising, and product formulation.


Under her direction, Parle Agro expanded its product line to include brands like Bailley bottled water and Appy Fizz with Real Fruit Juice. Nadia oversaw the expansion of the company’s reach outside of the home market, establishing a presence for Frooti and Appy Fizz in more than 50 nations.
